21.01.2013     The very first finalists are known!
In semifinal group # 2 Sudnitsyn, Andrey Vitalievich and Belka, Wieland having scored 6.5 each (with 3 wins and 7 draws, unbeaten) have become the first finalists of the tournament.
We congratulate both chess players!
 
 
 
29.09.2012     Play at the semifinal stage has been going on for 8 months.
At the moment we have 30, 37, 25, 36, 26 and 32 fimsihed games in corresponding groups, that equals to 56% of all games.
The best current results are achieved by Sudnitsyn, Andrey Vitalievich who won 3 games, and Demakov, Vladimir Ivanovich, Kurgansky, Vitaly Ivanovich, Manaenkov, Vladimir Nikolaevich, Rawlings, Alan J. C., Horvat, Milan, Podvoysky, Evgeny Borisovich won 2 games each.
 
 
 
29.01.2012     The semifinal stage of the tournament starts officially. We wish all participants interesting games and success in the event.

02.01.2012     Pairings are sent to the players.
There are 6 groups of Category 4 each which lets us set norms required for ICCF SIM and IM Titles.
 
 
 
01.01.2012     Drawing lots for semifinal was made.
We used rules as following:
1. Each group must consist of not less than 4 and not more than 5 players from Russia, exactly 2 players from Germany and not more than 1 player from the remaining countries.
2. Each group must not consist of not less than 2 and not more than 3 titled player.
3. All groups shall have the same average rating approximately.
4. Players with more than 1 entry are prohibited to play each other in more than one group.
 
 
 
01.12.2011     The winners of all preliminaries are already known. Soon they will be invited to play the Semifinals.
A start date of the 2nd stage is scheduled on 29 of Juanury 2012.
We send our greetings to all players on the end of the first stage of the event. We wish success to players who continue to compete in the tournament!
