62 players (66 entries) from 13 countries take part at the semifinal stage.
All participants are divided in 6 groups of 11 players each.

Places in groups are defined accordingly to scoring.
Tie breaking will be handled in accordance with the ICCF rules principally making use of Baumbach criteria (number of wins), then of the Sonneborn-Berger method.

The final stage is planned to consist of 1 group of 13 to 17 players.
Qualification to the final stage is guaranteed to 2 top finishers of each group (12 players) and few best 3rd places.
Tie breaking necessary to decide qualification to the final stage will be done sequentially on number of scored points then on ratings at the end date of the event.
